Laivly CEO Jeff Fettes is quoted in a new CX Today article examining Mark Zuckerberg’s vision for personal AI agents and what it could mean for CX. The piece explores how Meta’s “personal superintelligence” proposal could put an AI layer between brands and customers, filtering offers and handling routine interactions on the customer’s behalf.
Weighing in on the broader debate over AI and job displacement, Fettes cautioned against treating headcount reduction as the goal rather than a byproduct of good strategy: “AI should be viewed as an operating strategy first, and greater efficiency is one outcome from that well executed strategy. When companies start by asking how many people they can replace, that’s like trying to win a Formula 1 race by making the car lighter instead of focusing broadly on making it faster.”
